Foliage and Appearance
Hosta 'Neptune' features narrow, wedge-shaped leaves with heavily rippled edges, creating a cascading, wave-like effect in the garden. The foliage is bright glaucous blue in spring, gradually turning blue-green as the season progresses. The plant forms a moderately fast-growing clump, reaching approximately 24 inches (60 cm) tall and 47 inches (118 cm) wide. Its lush, textured leaves provide excellent visual interest and some resistance to slugs.
