Fishbone Cactus

Fishbone cactus is an epiphytic species in the Cactaceae family. Its other common names include zig zag cactus, ric rac cactus, or orchid cactus. Fishbone cacti have long, deep-lobed floppy green stems (often mistaken for leaves) that feature rounded teeth on either side. This humidity-loving succulent is endemic to the tropical rainforests of Mexico. The plant sprouts large, white nocturnal flowers that only bloom for one night and grows edible green fruit during its growing season.
